Opening Digital Doors for Children Facing Educational Barriers

By Ivan Seguya | Project leader

Access to technology can make a meaningful difference in the life of a child, especially for learners growing up in communities where computers are rarely available. Through our Equip 20 Computers Program, F SSIBU Mission Foundation is working to create a community-based digital learning space where children, school dropouts, and young people can gain practical computer skills and access information that can strengthen their education and future opportunities.

For many children we serve, the challenge is not a lack of determination. It is limited access to the resources that other learners may take for granted. A computer can provide access to educational materials, digital learning platforms, research, typing practice, and skills that are increasingly important for education and employment.

Our goal is to equip a 20-computer hub that can serve girls, boys, pupils, school dropouts, and other vulnerable young people within the communities we serve. The initiative is designed not simply to provide computers, but to create opportunities for learning, confidence, creativity, and self-reliance.

Every contribution toward this program helps us move closer to creating a space where children can learn with technology rather than remain excluded from it.

Your support can help place a computer within reach of a child who has never had the opportunity to learn through one. Together, we can open digital doors and nurture new possibilities.
