Confidence grows when children are given opportunities to learn, practice, and discover what they can achieve. For many children in the communities we serve, access to computers remains limited because of household poverty and inadequate learning resources.
The Equip 20 Computers Program seeks to change this by creating a practical digital learning environment where children and young people can gain experience with technology.
F SSIBU Mission Foundation plans to equip a 20-computer hub serving pupils, girls, boys, school dropouts, and other vulnerable young people. Through guided learning, participants can develop basic computer literacy and practical skills that complement their education and prepare them for future opportunities.
The program can help learners become more comfortable with tasks such as typing, preparing documents, researching information, using educational resources, and communicating through digital platforms. More importantly, repeated access to technology can help children move from uncertainty toward confidence.
To make the hub effective, we need support beyond the computers themselves. Tutors, desks and chairs, electricity, internet connectivity, software, learning materials, and maintenance are all important components of a sustainable digital learning space.
Our donors have the opportunity to be part of this investment. Every contribution can help us bring technology closer to children who have limited access to it.
When we invest in digital learning today, we help children build capabilities they can carry into tomorrow. Together, we can give vulnerable children the opportunity to learn, practice, create, and imagine new possibilities for their futures.
