Rural areas in Cameroon do not have adequate schools, infrastructure and teachers to educate its underprivileged children who come from poor families or are orphaned. Rural parents and guardians have limited funds to support their families and their children's education. Consequently, they put their children to work in farms to meet financial needs instead of sending them to school. This project will help ensure that Mbong continues her schooling by providing her with a full scholarship.
Children in rural Cameroon face a lot of difficulties to obtain basic education. The latest statistics shows that age 15 and over for the total population in Cameroon has a 71.3% literacy rate. Low levels of literacy, and education in general, can impede the economic development of a country in the current rapidly changing, technology-driven world. This project will provide a full scholarship for Mbong covering her tuition, books, school supplies, uniforms and related school expenses.
CAPEC Education Project is providing low cost education for children in the Nkolfoulou and other neighboring villages in Cameroon through its initiative, The Bitame Lucia Nursery and Primary School. Funds from this project will help Mbong continue attending school at Bitame Lucia. Your support will help provide all she needs to be successful in school and ensure that she completes her education.
Your support will help Mbong to get a decent education - transforming her life and providing her with opportunities for growth. In her chosen future career, she will also be contributing to national development.
