We are really happy that our number of students is increasing steadily. But this also means that we have to find a way to ensure quality lessons. At the moment, our students often have to work in groups of two, because of our limited number of devices. This is still better than nothing, but we would love for our students to work individually. If everyone can work on their own computer, everyone can reach their full potential.
Currently, our growing number of students means that we are unable to provide each of them with their own device, and therefore the opportunity to work individually. This is an important part of IT education, as it allows the student to discover what interests them best and flourish.
With your generous donations this becomes possible. By providing our growing classes with more IT devices, students will be able to work individually on their own projects. This will greatly help to ensure lessons retain their quality and give students the opportunity to learn and discover what interests them. Therefore, allowing our students to thrive in their IT education.
In the beginning, the project will empower 100 students per year with job-relevant IT- and Soft Skills. In the long-term, it is inspired to build IT Labs across Ghana based on the project's standardized concept. This approach will increase the pupil's chances to get a qualified job, building a successful career and compete on the global job market. This enables the students to exit the circle of informal labour and create themselves a positive impact on the society in Ghana.
