Girls remain woefully outnumbered in African schools. UNESCO in a report titled "Education For All" identifies sub Saharan Africa as one of the regions that have the widest gender disparity in terms of education; two out of three of the 110 million children who do not attend school are girls and in turn girls grow up to make two thirds of the world's 875 million illiterate adults. This project will help ensure that Christiana continues her schooling by providing her with a full scholarship.
Many girls drop out of school because their families choose to focus limited funding on boys. This project will provide a full scholarship for Christiana covering her tuition, books, school supplies and related school expenses. This will ensure that she continues and finishes her education. She is a brilliant person and has won many quiz and debating competitions. She is an eloquent speaker. She comes first in her class. She enjoys music and YOU can help her achieve her dreams.
Funds from this project will help Christiana continue her education and eventually become a banker - her desired future profession. Your support will ensure she does not drop out of school.
Healthy, well educated and emancipated women are an excellent foundation for a new & free society. Your support will help Christiana to complete her education, become independent and self-sufficient. Also, in her chosen future career as a banker, she will be contributing to national development.
