Sadhguru School was one of the only schools in rural Uganda to support remote learning during Covid-19. Our teachers worked tirelessly to put together home learning packs for education without internet access. This experience clearly showed us the need to grow our online access and digital learning space at Sadhguru School, as we work towards fostering mindful, balanced individuals with a global awareness. Our need now is to enhance our curriculum with digital learning.
For the children in our Sadhguru school community, the only chance to practice ICT skills is at school. Thanks to generous donations, we now have 4 laptops for children to expand their digital knowledge and skills. We are reaching out for your support to enable us to acquire extra computers and materials needed to transform children's lives through technology.
At Sadhguru School, we nurture children's innate creativity through balanced learning - both academic and vocational. In line with the Cambridge curriculum, this project will provide computer access, IT infrastructure, and teacher training to allow over 50 rural Ugandan children to learn and thrive in the global community.
In our increasingly technology-centred world, the need for digital education is vital. Our project will provide over 50 underprivileged children with the social mobility that comes with ICT skills. This will create a knock-on impact as children use their knowledge to build a better future for themselves and their communities.
