Summary

Widows face harsh economic and social isolation. Tailoring offers a fast path to financial independence. With a sewing machine, a widow can start a home business. This flexible work allows her to earn an income while caring for her children. Learning this skill builds confidence and self-reliance to 45 widows. It transforms vulnerable women into proud entrepreneurs. Investing in tailoring programs breaks the cycle of poverty. It secures a brighter future for widows and their families.

Challenge

Widows face severe isolation, poverty, and discrimination, often losing property rights and dignity due to cultural stigmas. To change this, empowerment is essential. We must guarantee legal protection, equal land ownership, and accessible healthcare. Providing vocational training and microfinance loans enables financial independence. True empowerment restores their voice, safeguards human rights, and transforms vulnerable widows into self-reliant leaders within their communities.

Solution

Empowering widows requires targeted action. This project builds financial independence through vocational training and microloans. We offer psychological counselling to heal trauma and combat isolation, alongside legal aid to secure property rights and prevent exploitation. By fostering community support networks, we restore dignity and security. This comprehensive approach transforms vulnerable widows into self-sufficient leaders.

Long-Term Impact

CHHAASE aims to improve economic status of women and their families through business skills and education. The secret of training is to empower, restore and regenerate women and improve their status. We have provided training's to 12000+ women so far.
