OBLF’s school year came to a close at the end of February, and our Year-end Assessments – Oral and Written – were held from 19th to 23rd February, 2018 for each of our over 2500 children. A detailed school-wise report is attached.
An analysis of the same shows that 98% of the children (who had at least 60 days’ attendance), improved in their English language skills.
The Assessment results show that 57% children scored over 60% marks at the year-end, as against only 8% at the beginning of the year.
As usual, our Senior Coordinators worked really hard and despite really difficult logistics, managed to conduct Oral Assessments for each of the 2500 children in one week. They travelled long distances daily from one school to another, to all our 45 rural schools, after which they got a well-deserved 2 week break.
