Thank you to all who participated in Giving Tuesday on December 2nd. Your gifts to the charity of your choice go a long way in helping these ministries continue their vital work.
Here at BonZeb, Inc., we are grateful for your support and donations. It cannot be stressed enough how important those prayers and financial support are to our ability to meet the needs of those we serve.
It is not too late to make a tax-deductible donation to this worthy cause. As we bring 2025 to an end and prepare for all that 2026 will bring, I would like to give you one last update on our work and ministry in Haiti.
2025 brought a lot and has been a year of growth for us. We planted a tree nursery with hundreds of saplings that are doing well and will be replanted by local children in the hillsides around Boucantiste sometime in 2026. We also started a sugar cane plantation which will come into maturity early in 2026. We were able to scholarship 3 students for the 2025-26 school year and would love to do more next year. We formed a new partnership with Job Power Haiti and look forward to developing more contacts across the country in 2025 and beyond. We were able to offer medical treatment and travel to an employee. We survive political uncertainty, hurricanes and storms, flooding, road erosion, etc. and end the year on a positive note with a celebration for our workers and their families.
As we wind down 2025, it is customary that we offer our team an end of the Christmas payment. This is considered the 13th month payment, 'trezye'm mwa for services. This Bonus Nwe'l, Christmas bonus, is paid with their last payroll of the year. This year that will cost about $1,500. The annual Selebrasyon Nwe'l ak repa, Christmas Celebration and meal, will cost around $100. If you would like to help our team celebrate Christmas with their families and friends, please consider a donation to BonZeb this week. Every dollar helps to defray this cost and is tax deductible. Thank you.
Thank you for being a partner in this effort. If you have not yet partnered with us, we invite you to do just that in the closing weeks of the year.
Please consider a year-end donation to BonZeb, Inc. which you can do through this site PayPal, Venmo, GlobalGiving,or every.org accounts. You can also simply write a check and send it to BonZeb, Inc. P.O. Box 3553, Gresham, OR 97030.
May God bless you and your family this Christmas and watch over you in the New Year.
