Challenge

Venezuela's healthcare is in crisis. Shortages of supplies, equipment and medical staff have hindered healthcare access for the most vulnerable, in particular children, women and those with disabilities. The deteriorating water infrastructure has led to a surge in waterborne diseases, severely affecting nutrition, child mortality, and the health of the next generation. Chamos and our partners are there, right now, but we urgently need your support to continue our lifesaving work in 2024.

Solution

A generous donation today will go towards lifesaving aid to malnourished babies and mothers, and the delivery of workshops focusing on long-term solutions. It will enable regular healthcare and dentistry clinics in rural, underserved communities. Further, it will support vulnerable children living with disabilities with specialised wheelchairs, and physiotherapy. Finally, you can help give access to clean water to ensure families stay safe and healthy.

Long-Term Impact

Chamos is not only responding to urgent needs of children today, but we look to tackle the root causes of Venezuela's health issues to have a sustainable, lasting impact and strengthen the next generation. We provide postnatal care for new parents; deliver physiotherapy sessions for children with disabilities, and across all our work prioritise access to clean, purified water. We need your support to continue our programmes in 2024, and to create a long-lasting impact for the years to follow.
