Summary

Food insecurity has a solution: solidarity. This month, 12 children with rare metabolic disorders are at risk of losing this support after an important source of funding ran out. For them, specialized medical food isn't optional, it's treatment. Without it, they risk severe, irreversible brain damage. Through the Divine Diet Project, Institute Jo Clemente (IJC) delivers life-saving meals free of charge to vulnerable families. Donate now and help protect the present and secure the future of child

Challenge

Children with rare metabolic disorders cannot safely eat everyday foods like bread or pasta. Without a strict, medically controlled diet, phenylalanine builds up in their bodies and causes severe, irreversible brain damage. The specialized low-protein foods that prevent this condition are expensive and hard to find in Brazil.

Solution

Institute Jo Clemente (IJC) built its own kitchen to turn solidarity into action, producing specialized low-protein cookies, pasta, and savory snacks that prevent metabolic crises and protect brain development. Families in vulnerable situations receive these baskets completely free. Your donation keeps 12 people's baskets from being interrupted: a one-time gift protects the present; a monthly gift secures the future.

Long-Term Impact

Consistent access to medical nutrition prevents Intellectual Disability, protects healthy development, and saves lives. With continued support, the Divine Diet Project can reach more families, so every child with a Rare Disease who is in a vulnerable socioeconomic situation gets the chance to live, learn, and thrive.
