As part of this project, the Vet-Alert Foundation will build a safe home for abused and neglected animals and fight for the right to provide charitable veterinary care. In Poland-a country of 38 million-helping animals for free is legally forbidden. We fight to treat rescued animals in our own clinic and ensure no animal is left without help due to lack of money or compassion.
In Poland, a country of 38 million people, animals in need often face neglect due to a lack of resources and legal barriers. Charitable veterinary care is prohibited, leaving many animals without vital treatment. Our rescue efforts are hindered by these laws, and without a safe place, abused and abandoned animals suffer. There is an urgent need for both a sanctuary and a fight for legal reform to ensure all animals get the care they deserve.
This project will create a safe place for abused and neglected animals, offering shelter, medical care, and rehabilitation. It will also enable us to continue fighting for the legalization of charitable veterinary care in Poland, ensuring that animals in need are not left behind due to financial constraints. By providing direct care and advocating for legal reform, we aim to both rescue and protect animals while working to change the system that currently limits their protection.
This project will not only provide immediate care and shelter for abused animals but also create lasting change in Poland's animal welfare laws. By establishing a permanent sanctuary and advocating for legal reform, we aim to ensure that all animals in need receive protection and medical care, regardless of financial constraints. In the long term, our project will serve as an example for future legislative changes, improving animal welfare and creating a compassionate society for animals.
