Juxta, gives way to a NATION with origin, but without borders, with a tradition expressed in creativity and innovation, with an essence that embraces equality and cultural diversity. A nation built by the union of all our differences, representing all people, the people of Juxta. A space represented by unity, diversity, respect and harmony, contributing to social and economic justice for the good life of all.
Juxta Nation, has been conceived in Los Altos de Chiapas, Mexico, belonging to a multicultural team integrated by indigenous women and a diversity of Mexican women. As a fair nation, we work together with the indigenous women, co-owners of this social enterprise, in order to value their creations, ancestral knowledge and cultural heritage; A gift to the world.
Promoting its textile products, which carry the wisdom of good living while maintaining a harmony of life on our planet. We encourage an ongoing dialogue between people of diverse backgrounds and cultures, ultimately shaping a diverse and talented collective.
JUXTA NATION is the marketing channel of the social enterprise, whose objective is to facilitate the direct transaction from the craftswomen to the consumer.
The outline of the offer is divided into two main sections:
Recientemente entrelazamos nuestra labor a través del diseño y la producción de una colección de joyería bordada inspirada en la planta del cacao que en la cultura maya, es sagrada.
The launch of Juxta By and Cacao Nativa resulted in 14 pieces of jewelry, which were inspired by the sacred fruit of Cacao and were created by 12 master Tsotsil artisans from Bochilté, Huixtán, Chiapas, Mexico.
Through this artistic and design strategy, we seek to promote and highlight traditional embroidery practices in the highlands of Chiapas, while generating a positive economic impact on the community of Bochilté, Huixtán.
We emphasize the importance of eliminating fragmented visions to give way to the conception of a whole that develops social responsibility and guides us towards our objective: harmony of life, the Lekil Kuxlejal.
