Summer has passed, and in August the girls and boys went back to the school bench.
31 girls, boys and teenagers entered the front door, to continue their educational growth and path. They were received by an indoor “street market” filled with educational tools. Pencils, erasers, notebooks, backpacks, shoes, clothes and much more. All these things that are indispensable for a child, when they sit in front of the blackboard, trying to learn the alphabet.
In this market, the currency used is not pesos, but efforts. Here everybody have access to the a decent school-package, so they can start of the new school year, with the tools that the educational system require.
But we do not only fill their backpack with colours and papers, but also educational activities and support from our educators. We know that the more time invested working on the street, the less time there will be invested in children's dreams. We can erase poverty, but we can support those who has the less, and this is what this program does.
We provide them with:
Besides we also make space for
All of this is possible thanks to you and all our supporters. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
