Strengthen our initiatives for children

By Gilberto Arias | Director General

During the period from August to October, the Movement for the Support of Abandoned Minors (MAMA A.C.) carried out various activities aimed at strengthening the educational, family, and community processes of our children, adolescents, and their families.

In August, MAMA A.C. held its annual market. This event allows families to obtain essential products at affordable prices using the foundation's internal currency (ESFUERZOS).

This activity had a special focus on back-to-school preparations, providing families with opportunities to purchase school supplies and other essential items for the start of the school year.

Likewise, the registration process for the various institutional programs was completed, allowing us to organize and plan the support that will be offered throughout the rest of the year.

In September, we formally began the new school year, supporting children and adolescents in their academic and emotional adjustment. This period was marked by constant coordination with mothers, fathers, and guardians to ensure that each participant had the necessary tools for a positive start.

In October, we continued using the Anton digital platform, a tool that has allowed us to reinforce learning and strengthen academic skills in a dynamic and accessible way. Its implementation has contributed to the individualized monitoring of each participant's progress.

These three months have represented a significant challenge for the team; however, each challenge motivates us to keep moving forward and to give our best. Our commitment remains firm to ensuring that every child and adolescent continues to grow and develop their full potential within a safe and supportive environment.
