This project will build classrooms and provide educational support for rural children and youth in the Shai-Osudoku District of the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. This will provide them access to free basic, secondary and tertiary education.
There are currently over 13 million people in Ghana living in rural communities. Although the Ghanaian government is working diligently to make education free and easily accessible to all Ghanaians, there are millions of rural children and youth who are not able to access free basic and secondary education due to poverty. This project will impact more than 200 rural children and youth in the Shai-Osudoku District of the Greater Accra Region of Ghana.
Impact Youth Foundation provides educational infrastructural developments and financial aid to students to access free basic, secondary, and tertiary education. Students are also engaged in sports and life skills training activities to equip and empower them to become responsible leaders in their communities.
The project will provide free education to more than 200 rural children and youth, equipping them with employable and entrepreneurial skills to rise out of poverty and foster economic growth in their community.
