By Isaac Robert Kwapong | Project Leader
It's been 3months since we partnered with GlobalGiving to build the first Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) classroom in rural Ghana. I am excited to share with you our donor partner the progress we have made so far.
The labour for the project has been reduced through weekly community service with members of the village. The enthusiasm of both the old and young during community labour days have been very heartwarming, as the project has brought about a spirit of hope in the village. The foundation block work is now completed with the concrete work yet to done.
As we continue to build the physical structure, plans for the sourcing of STEAM equipment and training programs is looking very promising and we can't wait to share exciting news with you in our next report in December.
We want to once again thank you for your continuous support to bring quality education to our promising young achievers and leaders in the village of Ayenya.
