Introduction
The Jewelry Design and Engineering Program continues to demonstrate its transformative power in shaping the future of young people in Ghana. Conceived and led by the Impact Youth Foundation, and developed in strategic partnership with Goldpot Jewelry and the Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (CTVET), the program is designed to bridge the gap between education and employment in the jewelry sector. By combining technical training, industry mentorship, and direct career pathways, we are empowering young people from rural communities to build sustainable livelihoods.
Beneficiary Success Story
We are proud to share that one of our program beneficiaries has successfully completed the Jewelry Design and Engineering Program. Through hard work, dedication, and the support of our training and mentorship framework, this graduate has now transitioned into a three-month internship with Goldpot Jewelry.
This internship is more than a learning opportunity, it is a direct entry into the professional jewelry industry. Following the successful completion of the internship, the beneficiary will be offered full-time employment at Goldpot Jewelry. This marks a significant milestone not only for the individual but also for the vision of the program: creating sustainable, long-term economic empowerment through education-to-employment pathways.
Program Impact
This success story demonstrates the tangible results of your support:
Youth from rural communities gaining access to high-quality vocational education.
Direct employment opportunities being created in Ghana’s growing jewelry industry.
A sustainable model where education directly feeds into industry needs.
Your contributions have played a vital role in making this possible. By investing in the skills and futures of young people, you are helping to transform lives, strengthen families, and contribute to the growth of Ghana’s creative and manufacturing sectors.
Conclusion
The journey of this graduate is only the beginning. With continued donor support, the Jewelry Design and Engineering Program will expand to reach more rural youth, provide them with world-class training, and open the doors to rewarding careers in the jewelry industry.
Together, we are not just educating students, we are building careers, communities, and a stronger future for Ghana.
