Accessibility for All in Egypt!

Dear all Alhassan Foundation’s believers & supporters,

You made it again dear donor! This is to inform you that having equipped ride as wheelchair user in Egypt is not just a ride it’s a whole life-changing opportunity. 

During the past few weeks we were able to provide over than 5 people with equipped rides that facilitated their daily lives. We had this lady who chose to have our accessible motorcycle over than anything else as she told us that this type of transportation will help her in different ways. She wanted this motorcycle to save time & money by dropping her daughter off at school every morning then go to work especially that she won’t be able to afford using taxis or Uber and surely she can’t use public transportation as it’s not accessible at all.

So Alhassan Foundation provided her with a Motorcycle to make her life easier, and she seized this opportunity. She thought of using this accessible transportation to have agreement with several department stores to take their commodities and sell it for small stores and kiosks in streets, which was like a source of income to her as well not only transportation.

We are also planning to provide the first fully accessible bus in Egypt that can give rides to wheelchair users especially our employees to work and for our athletes to give them rides from and to their training premises.
