Dear Alhassan donors, supporters and believers,

Our goal of providing 300 accessible transportations to physically-challenged people in Egypt is coming closer! We delivered 100 equipped rides to 100 physically-challenged men and women that enabled them to pursue their education, hobbies or find decent jobs.

In the equipped ride project, we offer an alternative to inaccessible public transportation and costly private transportation by providing tricycles to people who passes all official eligibility criteria. This tricycle can be drove by hand and has a place in the back in which wheelchair users can put their chair, secure it and move anywhere with it.

One of our beneficiaries whom our project impacted greatly is Abd El-Wahab. He is a 52-years-old man who has a wife and six kids. He applied for the equipped ride project to save the money the spends daily on private transportations to go to his job. After using the tricycle, he felt independent and it boosted him financially as he and his family benefited from the money he used to spend on transportation.

In 2019, we were able to finalize all the paperwork and legalities needed for our accessible bus to be ready to work. We use that bus to transport our employees to and from work, since more than 80% of the Alhassan’s employees are permanent wheelchair users. That bus is also used to transport our sports teams to championships and competitions across different cities all over Egypt.

We would like to thank each and every one of you for your support. We urge you to continue supporting our cause and stay our enthusiastic donor through subscribing to a monthly recurring donation which will help securing more funds to help wheelchair users in Egypt be physically independent.
