Dear Alhassan Foundation’s friends, believers & supporters,

We’re very thankful for your last donations. Your support has a major impact on people with mobility issues lives. “Accessibility for All” helps wheelchair users overcome the challenges they face doing daily activities like going to their schools, workplaces or not being able to leave their houses to start with due to lack of accessibility.

Our project was initially about offering accessible rides for wheelers. These rides represent a convenient alternative to inaccessible public transportation and costly private transportation. We provided tricycles to people who passes the eligibility criteria. This tricycle can be drove by hand and has a place in the back in which wheelchair users can put their chair, secure it and move anywhere with it

This project was then transformed to be “Accessibility for All” and its objective is to offer services like accessible rides and remodeling homes, schools and public places to be wheelchair friendly to achieve inclusion and give wheelers equal opportunities in work, education, sports, etc.

In 2020, we were able to make two schools accessible for kids who were not able to attend their schools and had to be carried around which was not a safe option for the kids or their parents who had to take breaks from their jobs to help their kids. Now these kids are able to move freely around the school’s campus. We also made four homes accessible for wheelers as well as the headquarter of a governmental entity. It’s worth mentioning that the accessibility solutions don’t only help wheelers but they also help elderly people and parents who push their babies’ strollers.

We would like to thank each and every one of you for your support. We urge you to continue supporting our cause and be a loyal donor through subscribing to a monthly recurring donation which will help securing more accessible transportation for wheelchair users in Egypt. Please visit our Facebook page to read other success stories:
