Hello to all donors & supporters of Alhassan Foundation;
We’d love to share with you the impact of your support & contributions in facilitating the transportation of wheelchair users in Egypt.
We managed to deliver 21 equipped ride – Motorcycle for 21 wheelchair user in different governorates across Egypt to support them with their day to day commuting independently with almost zero external aid. “Equipped Ride” project serves 27 governorates.
Your contribution reached around 21K $ from August 2016 till the end of 2016.

“Being a veiled woman using a wheelchair in Egypt, I used to have tough times in Egypt’s public, inaccessible transportation. However, AlHassan’s equipped motorcycle allowed me to avoid the stress and lack of accessibility. Moreover, I used to sell goods at the back of the motorcycle to generate income. Collecting such income, I was finally able to achieve my dream and establish a small business to be financially independent.”
Benefciary 1 – AlQalyobia - Egypt
During the celebration of the “World Disability Day” – December 2016, we delivered 10 motorcycles in the biggest gathering for wheelchair users across the country. We had around 280 wheelchair users from all over the country.
Also we honored the Egyptian Paralympic Team members who represented Egypt in Rio 2016 & we arranged the first marathon in the country for wheelchair users, during our celebration.
