Resilience !
In the "University for the marginalised" - life went on with Trainings on a diverse range of subjects. The people of this poor rural community are most appreciative of any training on offer. Its always so inspiring to see old women ( some with very poor eyesight ) turning up for a literacy class, having walked miles to get there! They havent "Given Up", this is true resilience!
In Photo 1. we see a literacy class, the teacher( who is also a voluntee)r had trained as a literacy teacher
In Photo 2. we Henry, the Trainer of Trainers with The Likulezi Project giving a pep talk to the Orphans starting secondary school. Henry is the ideal one to give a pep talk since he himself started as a volunteer, worked his way to become a trainer and now is the Trainer of Trainers for the Project.
Training is the backbone of the project, people who struggle to survive at the best of times have an appetite for Learning for the sake of their children, grandchildren and their community.
