Due to the expense of residential rehabilation we have decided that we will close this project. We did send one person for residential rehabilation and this has been reported on in the past. The cost of this 2 x 3 month stints in two different rehab centres here in Western Kenya was greater than what was raised on the platform here. In the event that we have to someone that requires rehabilitation treatment again we are likely to use the community rehabilitation model which is used by an organisation here in Kitale. This would be much cheaper than the residential model.
