In recent months, we have continued to operate both the community centre and the free shop, meeting the needs of thousands. With the end of the tourist season, we started again assisting individuals mostly with daily life issues, particularly with referrals to other actors, and administrative requests linked to integration. We also continue to offer language classes twice a week at our community centre, aiding visitors' inclusion.
With the change of season and the cold weather, the women and kids' space that we started providing in July is now happening every Friday. Activities vary depending on the needs of the participants. Most of the women continue to enjoy having access to the kitchen in order to prepare nutritious traditional meals, which is unfortunately not allowed to do in the camp. In the last couple of months, we've also organised some yoga classes and dancing activities.
Since November, we organised and participated in different events, including a Christmas market, monthly bazaars, different sport events and various community dinners. The sense of community that we promote through our different activities is essential for many. The Hub continues to play a vital role beyong meeting basic needs, by restoring a sense of belonging. Our project wouldn't be able without your generosity, we are very grateful for that!
