Dear Donors,
For many families living in Lebanon, this Eid Al Adha was going to be very difficult. Many people are no longer able to afford meat or clothes.
Samah, a Palestinian refugee in Lebanon, said "I am no longer able to afford meat. I haven't been able to in a long time. Now when my daughter asks for hamburgers, I tell her they don't make it in Lebanon anymore so she would stop asking for it."After receiving the meat share, Samah said "thank you so much for this generous assistance. Now my family and I are really feeling the Eid spirit."
This project was implemented in Beqaa, Lebanon, and benefited Lebanese, Syrian, and Palestinian people living in poverty.
810 shares of meat were distributed to families in need, providing 4,050 individuals the joy of having meat in their homes, which is now considered a luxury.
We also distributed 360 clothes vouchers to vulnerable families who wouldnt have been able to buy clothes for Eid.
Your donations brought joy and happiness to people who needed it most.
