"Adolescence and Youth for Gender Equality"

Thanks to the funds received through the campaign carried out in December 2025, we achieved significant progress in the implementation of this project. Among the first actions carried out was the printing of all the educational and consumable materials used during the workshops aimed at adolescents, parents, and teachers, thus ensuring the proper development of each training session.

As part of these activities, four workshops were conducted for 25 adolescents on topics such as gender equality, human rights, and positive masculinities. In addition, transportation support and refreshments were provided to participants, facilitating their attendance and participation in the sessions. Likewise, workshops were held with parents and teachers focusing on the same topics, promoting spaces for awareness and collaborative learning within the educational community.

Sucess story

Thanks to the support received through the December 2025 campaign, the project achieved a positive impact on adolescents, parents, and teachers within the educational community. Through workshops on gender equality, human rights, and positive masculinities, 25 adolescents strengthened their knowledge and skills to promote more respectful and violence-free relationships.

In addition, the active participation of parents and teachers created spaces for dialogue and awareness, strengthening the collective commitment to a more inclusive and equitable coexistence. The support provided through educational materials, transportation, and refreshments facilitated participants’ attendance and engagement, contributing to the success of each training session.

A dialogue circle was held with teenagers from the community, focusing on the topic of gender roles. This proved to be an extremely enriching experience for both the participants and the facilitating team. Through a safe, participatory, and respectful space, the young people were able to express their ideas, question stereotypes, and reflect on how gender roles influence their daily lives, relationships, and personal development. During the activity, group dynamics and exercises were conducted to strengthen their knowledge and promote a more equitable and inclusive perspective.

This meeting demonstrates the teenagers' interest and willingness to learn and discuss relevant social issues, reaffirming the importance of continuing to create these spaces for learning and reflection within the community. As a team, we are committed to continuing this educational work, developing new activities that contribute to strengthening values such as respect, equality, and healthy coexistence, positively impacting the holistic development of young people.
