Adopt a camera trap and help contribute towards conservation of nocturnal and elusive species in the Greater Kruger. Help to learn more about the little-researched behaviour and ecology of various species while getting to experience the work that we undertake on the ground with these amazing animals such as leopards, hyenas, aardvarks, and honey badgers.
Populations of animals such as leopards are decreasing, but there is still a lack of information about their true population size. While this member of the Big 5 is well-loved, there are a huge variety of other species that are forgotten about or simply not studied. These animals are fascinating, yet we know little about them. Without knowledge and awareness of these species, we will never understand them, and it is impossible to undertake conservation efforts without this understanding.
When Adopting a Camera trap, not only do you contribute towards conservation efforts, but you also become an 'adopter' - receiving updates, photos and information about our projects. Therefore, we help reach our goals of raising awareness about these incredible species, while also allowing us to expand our research equipment to allow us to cover more ground and gain further insight into the animals. If you wish to "Adopt a Camera Trap" and receive updates, the cost of program is $315.
This project allows us to contribute towards conservation of a wider range of species that are often neglected in conservation efforts, while introducing you to these animals and what we do! To ensure the sustainability and longevity of the African Impact Foundation during COVID-19, donations made via this page as of April 10, 2020, will be used to support all of our projects and operations across Southern and Eastern Africa.
