AIL’s food aid increased its capacity in 2020 due to the effects of the pandemic. Many lost their day jobs and that meant no food that day., creating an immediate food crisis for that familiy. AIL provided cooked meals, food parcels and tea and sugar packs to those in need. When necessary staff delivered supplies to families isolating at home.
Through October, food aid was supplied to over 12,000 families. Most recently in December, 120 families received packages of rice, peas, kidney beans, lentils, oil and tomato paste. These families were in need due to the effects of Covid-19.
Thank you for your support during this crisis.
