AIL has had in place an emergency aid fund for many years which distributes food aid to needy families in time of disaster, weather emergencies and civil unrest. This program has been supporting families displaced by the recent political and social upheaval in the country.
Most recently the food aid program distributed food packs to 200 poor families. The packs included, rice, beans, cooking oil, sugar, tea and bread. AIL facilities continue to be surrounded by tents set up by displaced people who all are in need of food, clean water and medical aid.
The 2021 Sakena Fund annual report is attached and we hope you find it interesting.
