The harsh Afghan winter is particularly difficult for poor families. These families live a day to day existence often without any safety net or source of support when they are in difficulty. AIL’s help becomes even more vital as families lack proper shelter and access to water, food and winter essentials like warm blankets and clothes.
AIL’s emergency response can include food, blankets, tents, warm clothes, boots, toys, dolls, and other items. AIL staff also cook and serve hot food to hundreds of people. Food packs include beans, tomato paste, rice, oil, tea, sugar and bread.
Thank you for your support for the most vulnerable people in Afghanistan.
