Turkish Ambassador Visits Aghosh College Murree – Empowering Orphans Through Education

We are thrilled to share a heartwarming update from Aghosh College Murree, a flagship initiative of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, where over 300 orphan students are currently residing and receiving free, quality education from Grade 8 to Grade 12 in a nurturing environment.
This month, His Excellency the Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan honored us with his visit to the Aghosh College campus. His presence symbolized the strong bond of solidarity and brotherhood between Turkey and Pakistan, especially in the realm of humanitarian and educational support for vulnerable children.
During the visit, the Ambassador interacted with students, toured the residential and academic facilities, and expressed admiration for the comprehensive support provided to orphans—ranging from academic learning to character building and personal development.
A special highlight of the visit was the farewell and recognition ceremony held for two outstanding Aghosh students who were recently awarded fully-funded scholarships to pursue higher education in Turkey. Their achievement is a testament to the quality of education and support provided at Aghosh College and the potential that lies within these bright young minds when given the opportunity.
"Aghosh College is not just a school—it's a center of hope, dignity, and excellence," said the Turkish Ambassador during his address to the students and staff.
About Aghosh Homes
Alkhidmat Foundation currently operates 24 Aghosh Homes across Pakistan and one in Gaziantep, Turkey, supporting thousands of orphaned children. These centers provide not only shelter and food, but also education, IT training, health care, emotional care, and extracurricular development to prepare students for a bright future.
