Project Update
This Ramadan, the children of Aghosh Homes Sheikhupura did not sit at an empty table. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our GlobalGiving donors, 313 orphan children — including 142 girls — gathered together for a warm, joyful Iftaar dinner, breaking their fast as a family.
For many of these children, Aghosh Homes is the only home they have ever known. Your support made sure that this Ramadan, they felt loved, cared for, and celebrated.
What We Did
Al-Khidmat Foundation organized a special Iftaar Dinner at Aghosh Homes Sheikhupura for all resident orphan children. The evening was filled with warmth, prayers, and the spirit of Ramadan as children broke their fast together in a nurturing, family-like environment.

Aghosh — meaning "embrace" in Urdu — is exactly what these homes offer to Pakistan's most vulnerable children.
Aghosh Homes is Al-Khidmat Foundation's flagship orphan care program, providing a safe, nurturing, and holistic environment for orphaned and destitute children across Pakistan. Sheikhupura is one of 24 Aghosh Homes operating nationwide.
