By Cora Sayre | Project Leader
Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our project providing aid to displaced families affected by the Marawi siege by ISIS-inspired terrorists. The project is running at a good start with friends and partners like you providing support. This reporting period, we provided ducklings to 120 families with the intention that they will raise the ducklings for the eggs and meat. The ducklings are about a month-old rather than day-old because in our experience, the day-old ducks could not suvive open environment and needs to be taken-cared of in a chick brooding system. Aside from providing the ducklings, we provided feeds and training to the beneficiaries. Per beneficiary receives 10 ducklings each. We ask them to return 10 eggs later on when the ducklings are grown, then we incubate the eggs to produce another set of ducklings in a sustainable manner.
Hoping for your continuing support to our project.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora
