Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our project providing aid to families displaced in the Marawi conflict. The destruction and displacement of local residents is still not being responded to adequately up to the present and much work needs to be done in order to assist the thousands of evacuees. While some have found haven with their relatives and in the evacuation centers established by the government, there are still many who are trying to make ends meet. They are destitute and badly needs help.
This reporting period, we focused on providing the evacuees who have been living with their relatives with small scale livelihoods via duck raising. Raising ducks is easy to do and they are fed with locally procured feeds from the farm. Ducks are also source of meat and eggs for the raisers. We were able to provide a total of 26 families with starter ducks comprising 20 females and 3 males which they can raise.
Hoping for more support for this project.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora
