By Cora Sayre | Project Leader
Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our initiative providing support to those affected by the Isis-inspired war in Marawi City. There are still many evacuees in evacuation centers in the provinces of Lanao del Sur and Lanao del Norte but the most problematic are those that are scattered and living with their relatives. Good if they manage to stay with those who have the means to support them but the problem is when their relatives are also poor. This reporting period and realizing that soap is badly needed in order to improve hygiene, and with the aid of an organization that we were able to link-up with, we provided 300 affected families with soap good for 3 months use. The recycled soap were cleaned by volunteers and sent to those in need in Asia and the Pacific.
Hoping for your continuing support.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora
