By Cora Sayre | Project Leader
Dear Friend,
Greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our project assisting those affected by the ISIS-inspired siege in Marawi City. Until now those who were displaced mostly Christians working there are still in difficult situation. This reporting period, we organized a training program for youth and women on food preparation using the vegetables from their gardens. The cooked vegetables they will sell in order to add value to their farm products. Most of the participants were happy about the event and they said that this is indeed very useful for them. We encouraged them to plant some more vegetables and using the spaces in their backyard and using recycled containers and chicken droppings. This reporting period we are able to train a total of 72 participants in a 1-day training activity. Our resource persons came from the department of agriculture.
Hoping for your continuing support.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora
