By Cora Sayre | Project Leader
Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support providing much-needed aid to those affected by the Marawi crisis. The ISIS-supported attack in the city have now ended with the surrender or death of ISIS combatants and rebuilding the city is now being pushed through. The problem of some of those affected is that they have no homes to return to at the moment and they have to stay a little longer at the evacuation centers. With this situation we continue to provide support to those who are in dire situation so they will be able to survive until they got new homes and livelihoods that is promised to be provided by the government and some international NGO's. This reporting period we were able to support 175 individuals staying in evacuation centers. We also continue to provide assistance via vegetable gardening to 320 home-based evacuees staying with relatives in 3 municipalities in Misamis Oriental.
Again, thank you very much for your kind help.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora
