Thank You: Celebrating Generosity and Connection

By Thamara Ixer and Jessica Parra | Development and Fundraising Team

We look back with immense gratitude and warmth on the special fundraising event that took place on Thursday, 25th September. It was more than just a gathering; it was a powerful night of connection, celebration, and support for Venezuelan families in need of food and educational aid through the vital work of @coromoto2020.

The evening’s highlight was truly transformative: the 360° VR journey with @WhereIsNoa. Many attendees had the rare, deeply emotional chance to be transported back to Venezuela, instantly reconnecting with its breathtaking landscapes, vibrant culture, and, most importantly, the spirit of its people. This stunning virtual reality experience reflected Noa’s passion and deep love for Venezuelan land, its flavours, and the extraordinary warmth of its citizens, which shone through every scene.

A heartfelt thank you, Noa, for sharing your experiences and bringing them together so beautifully to show us how traveling alone in Venezuela was, in itself, a blessing.

A Tribute to Our Generous Collaborators:

This incredible event would not have been possible without the extraordinary generosity of our partners. Your commitment turned vision into reality, thank you for that.

@WhereIsNoa.tour for creating the breathtaking, passion-driven VR experience that allowed so many to see, connect with, and reconnect with Venezuela.

@Arepa&Co and their team (Elephant & Castle) for kindly hosting us in their venue and providing the perfect warm atmosphere.@SantaTeresa1796rum, @AmazonikCacao, and @AndesProjectCoffee: For delighting us with the authentic, beautiful flavours of Venezuela and enriching the entire experience.

@marinafilms For your vital support and dedication in ensuring every detail came together smoothly.

@bettylaurazq For capturing the spirit and joy of the evening through your beautiful, professional photography. Your work ensures this unforgettable night lives on!

We are also deeply grateful to every individual, organisation, and supporter involved, including @premdent_clinic and @carevenezuela.

This collective effort of time, energy, and resources was more than just an event — it was a direct investment in creating hope for Venezuela’s future. Together, we celebrated Venezuela, but we also demonstrated what true compassion and community can achieve.

The success of the three sold-out screenings and the entire event is a direct reflection of your hard work and generosity. Thank you for making 25th September an unforgettable night of giving and connection.
