Every time a bell rings....

Blessed by the spirit of giving !

This time of year, many of  us watch holiday movies.  One in particular has a scene,  when a child says " everytime a bell rings an angel gets its wings".

While not everyone celebrates Christmas, we can all celebrate the spirit of giving  that the season  inspires.   Our program, for more than 2 decades has been blessed with the spirit of giving, by you , our wonderful donors,  who have enabled fragile families  who are impacted by extreme poverty, to live their very modest version of  a "wonderful life'.

When we look objectively at their hardships, it is hard to imagine anyone saying this. But , instead of utter destitution and despair,   your support gives food, housing, education, access to medical support to people who simply cannot do this for themselves. This, by comparison to life without any support,  is a pretty wonderful thing!

Your kindness enables a grandmother caring for an orphaned  young man with severe developmental disabilities or allows orphaned children sent to stay with loving family members who, without your support, could not afford to keep them. Your support enables them to be a part of a family, despite having lost their parents.

In the spirit of the season, please accept the heartfelt gratitude from the participants in our program and also from us, as we wish you a very Happy New Year. We are all  deeply grateful to you for your support.
