REFLECTIONS ON A YEAR IN ANGEL HOUSE
Yet again, it was another busy year for everyone in Angel House with several children returning to their families and new arrivals settling into life in our center, while other children continued their stay with us for another year.
As of December, we have sixteen young children, nine boys and six girls that need our loving care. We provide a comfortable home, healthy meals, access to education and medical care, along with counselling that helps these vulnerable kids to recover from the traumatic events in their young lives. Children like the three siblings that were battered by their father and abandoned by their mother, before being rescued by Angel House. Or the newborn that was left by the roadside by a desperate mother that was never found and is now being prepared for adoption.
We renewed our license, registration and accreditation with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) for another three years and continued with repairs and improvements to our residential center, providing a loving and secure environment for all our precious angels.
We continued our community programs that provide educational assistance for forty elementary students and our feeding program that gives a monthly sack of rice to impoverished families.
Your donations through GlobalGiving have enabled our dedicated team of staff to provide the highest quality of loving care for so many children and families that desperately needed your help. With your continued support, we will be able to transform the lives of more vulnerable children in the coming year. Blessings to all our GlobalGiving donors this festive season!
