Dear Friends,
Happy 2020 to you and those you love! Let's make this a great year for education in Romania....by starting off with a documentary about our work.
We have the great honor of receiving booklets from Swedish friends featuring "Bobbo", a little stray found injured, and brought to our Center of Hope for treatment. We have received 200 books that will be distributed throughout the villages surrounding Center of Hope in Ilfov County near Bucharest.
In other news, Dr. Aurelian has traveled to a slum village East of Bucharest to meet with the community and try to teach animal welfare lessons. This is hard....to change minds that have known only to chain dogs and not to value dogs or cats is difficult yet we strive to take on the challenge. Through friends in Holland we were able to get a number of the village dogs adopted. We also went to a very impoverished area in Bucharest to spay and neuter a number of cats with our HOPE mobile, used the Spay Shuttle to bring animals for spay and neuter as well as emergency patients to the Center. And as always, the Homeless Animals Hospital is providing treatment to those who otherwise would not have any. These are all educational stepping stones...enabling people to do the right thing by providing the services for them.
We appreciate your help over the years and hope that you will continue to help us and share our hard work and documentary with others. We need to expand this work, and that requires many supporters.
Thank you!
