Education on the roadways and in person!

Greetings Dear Friends,

During this challenging time for our world, we at Romania Animal Rescue needed to be very creative in continuing to reach communities with our message of animal welfare and "Neuter or Spay!  No More Strays!"

Our Veterinary Director Dr. Aurelian has created 4 signs placed along roadways where puppies, kittens, pregnant mothers, or in- heat females are abandoned by people who cannot afford to spay and neuter.  They don't realize that there is gratis spay and neuter service at our Center of Hope near Bucharest (as donations allow).

Dr Aurelian placed 3 signs in forested areas, and one near a highway.  The sign tells the reader to not dump animals in the forests where they will die of thirst or hunger, but please call our Center of Hope to make an appointment for this free service.   The cost for a spay for us is $25 and saves potentially hundreds from suffering!  As Dr. Aurelian explains in the video, RAR is doing what the government should be doing.  We are the only charity in Romania that has placed signs to deter citizens from abandonment while offering them a means to do right by the animals.

In addition to this, we've created masks for the public, using our logo with the paw print.  These have been extremely popular.  Our staff as well as clients use this simple tool to express animal welfare importance whilst we wait out the Covid crisis. Children and adults alike wear these and spread the word that animals are important in our world.

Your donations are at work in Romania.  Please continue to support this vital work and share with friends.  Thank you all very much. Together we are changing the situation for the animals in Romania!
