Dear Friends of the Romanian Animals,
The ice cold Winter has turned into a warm Spring and once again field trips, educational seminars at Center of Hope Social Hospital, at schools and at local events are up and running with Romania Animal Recue.
Our marvelous Veterinary Director, Dr. Aurelian Stefan, has a special way with kids, and loves doing outreach programs himself. This year we have had children visit the Center of Hope Social Hospital to learn about the work of veterinarians. They witnessed spays/neuters, toured the hospital, and learned that a career as a veterinarian is a lifetime commitment to love and changing the world for animals. And of course, this field trip day was topped off by pizza and drinks. Such a great day!
Dr. Aurelian brought the HOPE ambulance to schools for children to see for themselves our mobile outreach animal clinic. Soon we will have another, massive mobile clinic to bring to villages to reach animals, both community and owned, to provide on the spot veterinary care as well as education.
Our veterinary team also welcomed veterinary students from the University who witnessed the work they will be doing in the future once they graduate.
This weekend the amazing Dream Team worked with our Romanian affiliate Homeless Animals Hospital at an event in Bucharest. What fun it was for all who attended!
Please continue to support our education program. With your help, we can do miracles!
