A festive time was had by students in communities during their animal welfare education day !
In Buhusi, the children learned about animal welfare and were given balloons, toys and prizes during contests, along with our vital educational books!
In Sighetu, the children enjoyed a day films and were taught how to understand dog's signals as well as how to humanely walk a dog on a leash.
In Radauti, young people from a home that helps handicapped children learned about caring for the dogs that are in their local area. Most of these dogs were abandoned.....as were most of these handicapped children.
Hand in hand, in community after community, Romania Animal Rescue is teaching the young all that we have in common with our fellow beings. How with just a bit of understanding and compassion we can work together to make this world a better place for everyone. Thank you for your donations to help us educate in Romania!
