Veterinary Technician Ruth and others from the RAR Dream Team often walk throughout the villages that we help to share educational books, donated deparasite products, donated food, and inviting locals to partake in our sponsored spay campaigns.  Last week she and Frank walked in the village of Piteasca where our Center of Hope is located, talking to locals and sharing much needed supplies for their animals.

Education is hands-on with Romania Animal Rescue, whether in our clinics that share our education books and provide veterinary care, or at our hundreds of spayathons that have been performed throughout the country, or village outreach.

Ruth, like so many other RAR personnel, is an amazing person with an amazing story.  She is a citizen of the UK.  Ruth was searching a few years ago to find a good charity to be able to help with her exceptional skills and training abilities. Thankfully, she found RAR.   Ruth traveled to Romania 5 years ago to meet our Veterinary Director and check out our work.  She returned home, packed up her possessions and moved to Romania where she has worked with RAR ever since.   Ruth also helps to run the Veterinary Training Camp that Romania Animal Rescue sponsors for Romanian and Bulgarian vets to enable them to reach a higher level of veterinary skill to return to their communities.

We hope you enjoy the tour of our "adopted" village, Piteasca, where the Center of Hope is located.

Please support and share our work.  We need funds for education books, deparasite products, funds for our Homeless Animals Hospital free or subsidized vet care.  Only with your help and that of other supporters can we continue and grow our work in Romania.

Thank you friends!
