We organized an elaborate awareness and education event on Compassion Education Through Animal Interactions, in which participants were provided with interesting information about the animal world and had the opportunity to interact with domestic animals like goats, sheep, rabbits, chickens, puppies, kittens, etc. This was organized on 13 to 16 January 2018.
This is program wass primarily designed for kids as they are naturally drawn to animals. They see them on TV, they see characters in cartoons that are animals, but when they meet real animals in real life, there’s something magical about the experience. We all know connecting with nature is important, and part of that is understanding and learning about animals. The best way to do that is to meet animals face-to-face.
The kids had an amazing time learning about animals and were visibly touched by the fact that animals are so incredibly vulnerable and how they deserve our empathy.
