In second week of April we saw a lot of dehydration and Canine Distemper cases. In most of the dehydration cases fluid therapy was given for 3-4 days continuously to rehydrate the patients. We were able to treat a total of 169 new cases.
New cases treated by vans: A1 - 58, A2 - 63, A3 – 58; and follow up cases were: A1 – 33, A2 –45, A3 – 60. We were able to complete treatments of 91 animals within the second week of April 2018.
A total of 63 street dogs were vaccinated against rabies. Our team did a total of 187 public interactions for rabies awareness and dog bite first aid.
