Drive Sensibly and Save Animals

The Humans have the comfort to own a vehicle or use a public transport to commute to any place he wants to go. But while driving the vehicle he doesn’t understand the importance of driving sensibly. The innocent speechless animals live on road sides and people drive rash running over those innocent souls. Jivdaya Charitable Trust wishes to request all the people out here who drive any kind of vehicle to please drive safe and do not hurt the animals on roads.

The Animal Care on Wheels summary for the third week of June’18 is as follows:

The new cases treated by vans A1 – 50, A2 – 37, and A3 – 56, adding up to 143 new cases for the week. The follow up cases by vans A1 – 28, A2 – 56, and A3 – 27 leading to in total 111 cases for the week. The cases closed were A1 – 35, A2 – 29, and A3 – 32. In total 96 cases were closed by all the three vans.

Majorly dogs were treated around 248, with few cats, and cows. Though there were comparatively more cows for treatment this week as compared to past weeks. The cows that were treated suffered from injuries due to vehicular accidents. They were also found to be suffering from dehydration due to hot weather and less accessibility to drinking water. The dogs treated by the vans majorly had skin infections. There were cases of accident. Few cases treated have not been eating properly due to excessively hot and humid weather.Around 150 dogs were vaccinated against rabies and leaflets were distributed amongst public for education and awareness regarding animals.
