Friends’ stray animal rescue is one of the main focuses of our work here in Ahmedabad. As you know, thousands of animals live on the street of Ahmedabad. Animals, especially dogs, are cruelly mistreated and often hit by cars without a hint of compassion. Luckily, we do have community members that are compassionate and will call our Help Line if they see a sick or injured animal on the street. Last month we received many stray dogs suffering from vehicular hit, injured due to fights or harmful objects, patients with tumors, fractures and dehydration. Our team of Vets has started necessary treatment and admitted the patients in case of requirement.
